JUST A SWEET LITTLE THEATER GIRL TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING

My love of theater and design launched my career and continues to infuse my approach to corporate events. Theater is about telling stories – with each contributor and every production element supporting a shared vision. The same can be said for successful events. I have a broad network of top creative, production and marketing professionals that allows me to create customized teams for events worldwide. And just like theater, the right team inspires amazing results.

THE PATH THAT GOT ME HERE:
A Master’s degree from UCLA in Theater Arts and Design led me to the Seattle Repertory Theater where I worked in Lighting Design and Technical Direction.

From there I moved into producing corporate events for a variety of companies and clients:

Cynthia Bishop, LLC – as a freelance event producer and project manager, I have produced everything from intimate round-tables to 15,000+ attendee extravaganzas.

Corporate clients include: SalesForce, GE, Ford, Microsoft, Starbucks and Intel.

Non-profit clients include: Association of TEDxSeattle, School Business Officials, Merchant Risk Council, Woodland Park Zoo, and The Seattle Aquarium.

Creative agencies or partners include: Opus, ZED Ink, Manifold, Further Inc, Gail & Rice, Freeman, Wexley School for Girls, Campos Creative Works, Watts Media, Pacific Studio, TEI’s Extreme Meetings, Sound Planning Meetings and Events LP.

Microsoft – as part of Microsoft’s event team, I managed worldwide, tier-one level executive keynote presentations for 5 years.

Caribiner International/Jack Morton Worldwide – for this creative agency, I produced US and world tour keynote events for Intel executives Craig Barrett and Andy Grove.

The Production Network – at this production management and staging company, I managed the production of multiple, simultaneous events for Microsoft and Intel Corporations.
